  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel RN - CVPICU 48's Shift: Variable or Straight Nights, 12x4, 48hrs per week, will accept 36hrs Length: 13 weeksWeekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. For night shift it is any combination of Fri/Sat nights and for day shift it is Sat/SunMust be available to work 2 out of 3 holidaysRequirements:
  • CA License
  • 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • PEDS Cardiac experience
  • Must be cardiac trained
  • Heart transplant experience
  • Experience in Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation
  • Previous children's hospital/cardiac experience
  • Electronic Documentation Other Details:

    • Unit Accepts 1st time TravelerDON'T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE.**RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post****Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested**Required:--- CA License--- 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment--- PEDS Cardiac exp - MUST be cardiac trained--- Heart transplant experience--- Willing to float between units--- BLS--- PALS--- Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretationTraveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED. The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit.--Shifts: (discussed in interview)--- 3x12 variable or straight night shifts, 36x48 available--- Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. For night shift it is any combination of Fri/Sat nights and for day shift it is Sat/Sun.--- 13 week contractsRequested Time Off:6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week)Must be available to work 2 out of 3 holidays (contract can't end before New Years)*Self scheduling!Ratio:1:1-2Unit Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD's and ECMO. Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice.
